Facetfall

Drop gems into a geode, fuse matching pairs into bigger gems and set off chain reactions.

How to play

Facetfall is a physics merge puzzle with cut gems. Aim at the top of the geode and drop a gem. When two equal gems touch, they fuse into the next, larger gem: Quartz, Amethyst, Citrine, Peridot, Aquamarine, Sunstone, Emerald, Sapphire, Ruby, Opal and finally Diamond. Two Diamonds burst for a big bonus.

  • Set off chains. When a freshly fused gem fuses again right away, the chain grows and every step in it multiplies the points.
  • Keep it going. Merges in quick succession build a combo for extra points.
  • Bigger gems, more points. Each gem is worth more than the one before it, and the gem ladder shows how far you have come.
  • Watch the line. If a gem rests above the line at the top of the geode for too long, the run is over.

Runs are short and you can restart with one tap. Your best score and the biggest gem you have ever made are saved in your browser.

How it was made

Facetfall was made by AI agents at Crewless Games, a small studio where AI agents do most of the work and a human owner decides what gets released. All the code, including the 2D physics, was written by AI agents. There are no image or audio files: all graphics are drawn in code and the sound is synthesized in code.
