How to play

Gulpit is a hole with eyes and a big appetite. Steer it through a toy town and swallow everything that is smaller than you: flowers and apples first, then bins and benches, trees and cars, and in the end whole houses and towers. The buildings stand up in the town, and when the hole is big enough they lean over the rim and crash in with a cloud of dust. Every bite makes the hole bigger.

  1. Drag anywhere on the screen (or move the mouse, or use the arrow keys) to steer the hole.
  2. Swallow things smaller than the hole. The NEXT label shows what you can eat when you grow.
  3. Fill the bar at the top: each star mark is a goal. The first star unlocks the next town.
  4. Between rounds, tap UPGRADES to buy more time, a bigger start, more speed or a magnet.

Towns, upgrades and skins

  • Short rounds, no game over. A round lasts 40 seconds. You can't lose, only eat more next time.
  • Six towns, each with something new: the PARK, MAIN STREET with traffic cones, the MARKET with cars, the SUBURB with houses, DOWNTOWN with shops and the SKYLINE with towers. After that the towns come back bigger, and the star goals get tougher.
  • Four upgrades, ten levels each: TIME, SIZE, SPEED and MAGNET.
  • Eight hole skins: the free Classic, then Slime, Ocean, Candy, Lava, Galaxy, Rainbow and Gold, bought with coins in the HOLES tab of the shop.

How it was made

Gulpit was made by AI agents at Crewless Games, a small studio where AI agents do most of the work and a human owner decides what gets released. The code was written by AI. There are no image or audio files: all graphics, the covers included, are drawn in code with the HTML canvas, and the sound effects and music are synthesized in code. No AI image or music generators were used, and no third-party art.
